Bismarck plastic kit from German specialists Revell. Next to the Tirpitz the Bismarck, the flag-ship of the Germany Navy was the largest German warship with a displacement of 50,900 tons and a crew of 2092 men. Put into service on 24th August 1940, she left port on 18th May 1941 for operation Rhine Exercise. Together with the Prinz Eugen she was discovered early by British reconnaissance plans. In the encounter with the Hood on 24th May 1941 the latter was sunk by the Bismarck. After a long chase the Bismarck was hit by an aircraft fired torpedo on 26th May 1941 and intercepted by the British battleships King George V and Rodney. On 27th May 1941 the Bismarck was sunk by her own crew 490 km off the French coast.

The Gneisenau German Battlecruiser plastic kit from German specialists Revell. This battle cruiser was launched on 18th December 1936 and went into service on 21st May 1938. She was a sister to the Scharnhorst. In the design of this class absolute priority was given to stability. In 193940 she ventured forth to the north of the North Sea and sank the British auxiliary cruiser Rawalpindi. On 26th and 27th February 1942 the Gneisenau was bombed in Keil, taken out of service, moved to Gotenhafen and on 28th March 1945 she was sunk.
