JACOBS CREEK - Sparkling Rose 75cl Bottle
Jacob's Creek Sparkling Rose is a non-vintage, bottle fermented, sparkling wine. Made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes from a variety of Australia's grape growing regions it brings together a combination of warm and cool climate characters. Being a non-vintage sparkling, complexity and consistency of style is achieved by including both current and prior vintages. Typically, the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes are harvested early in vintage when they have fresh varietal flavours and high natural acidity. The retention of natural acidity is important to the style of this wine, giving the palate a crisp and vibrant finish.

TRIMBACH - Gewurztraminer 2005/6 75cl Bottle
Gewurztraminer is without a doubt the most distinctive wine from Trimbach. The variety's pronounced fragrance of rose, lychee and spice introduces the rich and often powerful taste adopted around the world as the perfect accompaniment to spicy food. The 2004 Gewurztraminer is dry, with good levels of natural alcohol and plenty of appealing acidity -the Trimbach family's signature. The 2004 Gewurztraminer is gold in color with a spicy nose perfumed with lychee. Rich and intense, this Gewurztraminer is luscious and well balanced with a dry, spicy finish. This is a textbook Gewurztraminer from Alsace that will easily age 5 years or more. Gewurztraminer is a classic match with spicy Asian, Mexican, or Indian fare, and strong cheeses such Muenster or Roquefort.

TRIMBACH - Riesling 2004/5 75cl Bottle
2004 was a great vintage for Riesling, and a very good vintage in Alsace, with extremely healthy, ripe grapes and beautiful crisp acidity. One could compare this vintage with famous vintages like 1995 or 1996, which were wonderful vintages for classic Rieslings. The vineyards used for the Trimbach 2004 Riesling were selected by Pierre and Jean Trimbach, and the grapes harvested in late October. The fruit was fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel and concrete vats. There was no secondary malolactic fermentation, so as to maintain as much natural acidity as possible. The wine was released after two years of cellar aging. Bright, with green edges and a developed nose, the wine shows a hint of mineral flavor, which is associated with perfect ripeness. Flavours of white...

BODEGAS RODA - Roda I, Rioja 2004 75cl Bottle
From old vines (greater than 30 years old), yields are not allowed to exceed 1.5 Kg per vine. Only fruit with phenolic maturity is picked, or grapes with concentrated, intense aromas and a depth and complexity of palate flavours. The fourteen Tempranillo vineyards are located near Haro, the historic heart of La Rioja Alta. Sustainable farming practices are utilised (no herbicides or pesticides), excess buds are eliminated and, when necessary, buds are grafted from RODA's own rootstocks. Bunches are carefully selected before the grapes are meticulously sorted on a table. Vertical 'basket presses' are utilised to crush the fruit in the gentlest manner possible. A 'cold soak' is utilised to extract optimal colour and tannins, high temperature fermentation (up to 30...
