This family-owned domaine combines 40 year old vines with good quality soils in the production of this Grenache dominated red. Their Sablet is a full-bodied wine with rich aromas of plum, black cherries and spice and a long peppery finish. It has not been subjected to any filtering to ensure optimum flavour is maintained.

2005 was an excellent vintage, and this dynamic domaine has produced a classic Julienas, one of the Beaujolais cru renowned for its depth of flavour. Delicious aromas of raspberries and black cherries, are joined by more complex hints of clove, cinnamon and liquorice, complimented by the silky tannins on the finish. Drink now and over the next couple of years with game, cheeses and cold meats.

Made by Chief Winemaker for Yering Station, Tom Carson, who was honoured with the prestigious 'Winemaker of the Year' at the International Wine and Spirit Competition in London, 2004. Aromas of dark cherry and blackberry characters with hints of leather and nutmeg spice lead to a rich and spicy palate with great density and weight. Long fine-grained tannins complete the powerful finish. Drink now to 2009.
