New from Amalgam Fine Collection is the stunning, completely handmade model of the awesome Aston Martin DBR9. The DBR9 GT Racing Car is based on the aston Martin production sports car - the DB9 - but is significantly modified for competition use. The result of these modifications is a GT Racing Car with outstanding performance but with the beauty and integrity of an Aston Martin.

Since we started making models for F1 teams 10 years ago we have also yearned to make a collection of classic historic race cars. Until recently we have only managed to find time to develop two such models, the Ferrari 312T4 and the Maserati 250F. We loved building these models but we also learned that the development and detailing of such models made a huge demand on our pattern making team in terms of research and build time.

We have finally taken a big step forward and we now have two teams dedicated to developing historic racers. Earlier this year we initiated a program that will see at least four new models released each year, starting with the Mercedes W196 Monoposto and Streamliner of 1954 and 1955.

Made in genuine carbon fibre with rubber grips and operating switches and paddles. Mounted on a red leather base with a clear acrylic dust cover. In a limited edition of 200 pieces with a certificate and key to the functionality of the buttons and switches.

This is a highly detailed hand built 1/ 8 Scale replica of the Malaysian Grand Prix specification Ferrari F2001. This was the car that helped Michael Schumacher achieve his second World Drivers Championship for Ferrari and his 4th overall.
