Marchand-Grillot, Jouise 2005 Gevrey-Chambertin, Burgundy, France
|
|
Delicious red Burgundy showing fruit and a firm structure. The Marchand-Grillot domaine has many fine sites. This wine comes from a plot called Jouise, which is fairly low down on the slope with 30-year-old vines. Full of black cherry fruit with a firm structure of tannin behind, this is delicious, typical, gutsy Gevrey, which will age well.
